House Groups
A group of 8 – 30 people which meets fortnightly in an environment where members can have their spiritual, emotional and social needs met.        
 Where members can learn to express their love for God through worship, relax in a warm and non-threatening atmosphere, and develop an increasing willingness to make friends and become a family.
 Members will learn to minister, and to receive and grow in the use of spiritual gifts, in a place that’s safe.
A place for trial and error where members develop an increasing level of intimacy and accountability, as part of the process of growth, maturity and wholeness
House groups are a place where members learn to pray, work, eat and play together and see the values, priorities and philosophy of ministry modelled.
The purpose of House Groups
* To grow in a deep and intimate relationship with God and experience His presence
* To provide adequate pastoral care for each member of CLG
* To develop deep and lasting relationships
* To equip and train group members to do the works of Jesus
* To provide a place for crisis and ongoing healing
* To develop new leaders
* To relate the word of God personally and practically to daily life
* To incorporate new members and believers into the life of the church
Acts 2:

42.” and they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.
 43.  Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles.
 44.  Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common,
 45.  and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need.
 46.  So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart,
 47.  Praising God and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.”
